About Realm of Chaos

The Realm of Chaos is a Medieval Role Playing Game that is set in Europe, mainly in England, and consists of nearly any type of medieval persona one can think of. There are no fictitious characters allowed in this game, which include, but are not limited to: Magic-users, dragons, elves, orcs, demons (which are not fictitious, but can’t be played), monsters, etc. This is to make the game as realistic as possible, and to preserve the fun of placing yourself back in time, and trying to fit into a society that is nothing like the one that we live in today. The feudalism of the Dark Ages will be played in this game, and will follow the following format:

The king will have Lords under him, who must swear fealty to him, and will own Land.

The Lords have Knights who swear loyalty to their own lord, and will gain land in return.

Knights/Lords will have Vassals who will be given land in return for working on the Manor’s fields 1-3 days out of the week.

Serfs will be under Vassals/Knights/Lords and will work on the land, for protection.

Slaves can be owned by anyone, but serfs will hardly –ever- own a slave, due to the fact that they don’t even own their own land.

There will be a few Lords, more knights, even more Vassals, and so on, until you reach serfs and/or slaves, which will be plentiful. Not everyone will get to play a Lord or a Knight, it just wouldn’t be any fun that way. The numbers of each class will be regulated, depending on how many people play. Traders, merchants, artisans, etc., can form guilds, and that can be an interesting thing to play for them. Even a serf can have fun, because they can stage revolts, with the peasants help, and who knows, a Lord might be overthrown, and a former serf might become Lord, and eventually king. Anything can happen in this Realm of Chaos.
